Take it with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Drink plenty of fluids and let your doctor know if it doesn’t stop or if you have blood in your stool. Use reliable birth control to avoid pregnancy while taking this medicine and for 1 month after you stop taking it. Monitor your blood pressure regularly while taking this medicine. See your doctor if you notice symptoms of high blood pressure, such as severe headache, confusion, blurred vision, nausea or vomiting. This can lead to serious bleeding problems. Special Precautions Lenvatinib should be used with caution in the following conditions: Hypertension: Check your blood pressure before treatment and monitor it during treatment. Discontinue for grade 3 hypertension despite optimal antihypertensive therapy. Discontinue for grade 4 hypertension.
